About Us

Changing the way the world looks at sustainability

Progressive Planet is an emerging technology company providing innovative circular solutions and earth-friendly micronized minerals that naturally unlock sustainability benefits across the construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors.

Tapping into the earth’s binding powers and properties, PLAN is developing and scaling a portfolio of proprietary solutions to help our customers build, grow, live, and operate more responsibly.

To us, sustainability is not just about greener products. We’re proud to be actively participating in the  global sustainability movement – one of the largest socio-economic shifts in our lifetime. This movement is affecting everything from product purchase and supply chain management to decarbonization, climate change and ESG investing. To this end, Progressive Planet is introducing its own ESG reporting by June 30, 2022.

Absorbent Products LTD Acquisition

The recent acquisition and operational integration of Absorbent Products has brought two complementary companies together, unifying top-notch talent and state-of-the-art R&D operations under one shared vision.

Progressive Planet continues to maintain and support Absorbent Products’ existing business operations, including all mineral and mining interests, owned and long-lease industrial properties, manufacturing / sales / distribution infrastructure, patents and intellectual property. The company also retains an impressive portfolio of eco-conscious mineral-based products and legacy revenues ranging from agricultural feed additives, natural insecticides, and soil conditioners; to industrial absorbents, fillers, and sealants; to cat litter and pet-friendly ice melters among other applications — all derived from diatomaceous earth, bentonite, leonardite, and zeolite mining operations. All material is taken from its raw state, processed and packaged for sale with some of the most recognized big-box retailers in North America.

Micronization & Industrial Toll Processing

Size matters.

The smaller the size, the higher mineral reactivity you get, which in turn delivers greater benefits.

Across agriculture practices this means better crop yields, soil moisture retention, and carbon sequestration driven back into the soil.

In construction, we see a future where concrete becomes a sustainable building product that absorbs & sequesters CO2, whereas today cement in concrete is the second biggest global generator of CO2.

Our micronization capabilities provide sustainability opportunities for industry that did not exist even a few years ago. We understand that toll processing is much more than the crushing, grinding and milling of industrial minerals. It’s where science and technology come together to help break down, activate and release mineral nutrients and other performance-enhancing building blocks.

Progressive Planet specializes in custom toll processing services — investing in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, experienced operators offering a wide variety of precision particle configurations and quality control second to none. We are currently processing:

  • Soft Rock Phosphate
  • Zeolite
  • Limestone
  • Glacial Moraine
  • Diatomaceous Earth
  • Bentonite Clay
  • Virgin / Post-Consumer Glass
